Charles H. Robinson, 84, of Boston Hts., Ohio was the beloved husband 60 years of Kathryn J. (nee Pratt); loving father of Jim (Carol) Robinson, Susan (Jim) Dougherty, Roger (Nancy) Robinson and Sharon (Ron) Robinson; dear grandfather of eight; great-grandfather of four; brother of the late Donald (May) Robinson; died Friday June 14, 2013.
Mr. Robinson served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, was a 32 year member of the Boston Hts. Fire Department, was active in the 4H Saddle Club of Summit County and worked for B.F. Goodrich for 30 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Akron General VNS Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Akron, OH 44333.
The family wishes to thank The Macedonia and Boston Hts. Fire Departments, Akron General VNS Hospice Center and the University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center for all their care and support.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 17, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. at JOHNSON-ROMITO FUNERAL HOME, 99 W. AURORA RD. (RT. 82 1 MILE WEST OF RT. 8) NORTHFIELD CENTER, OH 330-468-1443, where services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Boston Hts., Ohio.
