Harold L. Brannan, a longtime resident of Boston Heights, lately of Legacy Place, Twinsburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 16, 2006.
Born in Cleveland, he lived most of his life in the Nordonia area. He attended Northfield High School until he entered the Navy shortly before World War II. He proudly served his country in the South Pacific. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Western Reserve Psychiatric Rehabilitation Hospital. He built the house that he lived in with his wife of 49 years, Lois (Pratt) Brannan.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Florence Reed; his brothers, Edward Brannan and Carlton Reed; granddaughters, Christine and Diane Brannan; and his much-loved wife, Lois.
Harold is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kim Brannan; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Ron Fenn; grandchildren, Dawn Brannan, Danette and Jay Skolnik, Brian and Christine Fenn, Christopher and Patty Fenn, Denise and Dan Prischak, Sean and Holly Brannan, and Kevin Brannan; great-grandchildren, Terri Brannan, Tyler and Molly Fenn, Gabrielle, Emily, and Olivia Fenn, Kiernan and Rory Skolnik, Jalen Brannan, and Kayla Prischak; and sisters-in-law, Myrtal Mural, Alice Wright, and Florence Reed.
Services at 11 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2006, at Johnson Romito, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, Northfield Center, Ohio, where friends were received Thursday. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Boston Heights.
