Virgina K. Boyer


Virginia K. Boyer, 89, died September 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 2, 1920 in Pittsburgh, she resided in Boston Hts. She was a member of the Hudson Eastern Star, was awarded Grand Cross of Rainbow Girls and was a long time member of Steeles Corners Community Church. Virginia represented all Jack & Heinz plants on radio WTAM during World War II and was a retired school bus driver for Hudson schools. She and her husband were self employed. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, dancing and cards.

Preceded in death by husband, Norman; parents, Edith and John Krauslock; brother, Dalton and son-in-law, Tim Mikulas; she is survived by daughters, Linda (Ken) Newsom and Joanne Mikulas; grandchildren, Lori Williams, Jon Wright, Brian Newson, Emily Bosley, and Andy Mikulas and three great-grandchildren.

Friends called Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Redmon Funeral Home in Stow. Pastor Shaun McNea conducted service Thursday 11 a.m. at Steeles Corners Community Church, in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment has been at Crown Hill Cemetery.
