[C/T Carol Zeman noted the new Summit County Engineer website was available: http://engineer.co.summit.oh.us]
[C/T Carol Zeman noted that forms were available (at the Village Hall?) for property tax reductions: Homestead and 2.5% residency]
[C/T Carol Zeman noted that the Ohio Munincipal League was predicting cuts in state funds to the village of 6-10%: $960 so far]
[Mayor McFall noted that Santa deliveries for Saturday should be dropped off at the Village Hall by Friday]
[Police Chief Varga noted that a B.H.V. officer was likely to soon be resigned to become Peninsula Police Chief]

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A NEW CHAPTER 513
"DRUG ABUSE CONTROL" UNDER THE GENERAL
OFFENSES SECTION OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF
THE VILLAGE OF BOSTON HEIGHTS, OHIO AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
 ORDINANCE S-2001
[passed as Ordinance 19-2001]
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 339.02(d) OF THE
CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF BOSTON
HEIGHTS, OHIO PERTAINING TO THE GRANTING OF A
PERMIT TO ALLOW AN OVERWEIGHT OR OVERSIZE
VEHICLE TO OPERATE ON THE LOCAL STREETS OF THE
VILLAGE OF BOSTON HEIGHTS, OHIO AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
The Mayor and Solicitor noted that this item was in anticipation of the upcoming cleanup of the Krejci hazardous waste dump site, adjacne to the Village, which would lead to heavy large-truck traffic on Hines Hill Road to Rt.8, through the Village.

 ORDINANCE T-2001

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ALL EXCESS AND
UNEXPENDED APPROPRIATED REVENUES TO THE
VILLAGE OF BOSTON HEIGHTS VARIOUS FUNDS FOR 2001
EXPENDITURES PENDING APPROVAL OF THE SUMMIT
COUNTY AUDITOR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
The Clerk/Treasurer noted that this was an end-of-year legal housekeeping item, and that it was not yet known whether any such excess funds existed in the 2001 budget.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

[Note: The Village Engineer noted various items that didn't amount to anything specific or important this month.]

[Council P-PT B.Goncy stated that he had reviewed the previous month's financial disbursements. Presumably they were all in order.]

[Councilor Cheung stated that the Planning Commission had met and approved Advanced Health's final building plans as amended to include a large oxygen tank installation, and also to hear preliminary information about additional office space usage in that same building on Hines Hills Road. Further, the P.C. had given a preliminary hearing to a proposal for a Bed and Breakfast operation at the old Papes sheep farm. And finally, the P.C. had further considered the ongoing revision to the Zoning Plan for the Village of Boston Heights.]
